The MLS® (Multiple Listing Service®) is a cooperative marketing network created by REALTORS to help the public buy and sell homes. Don't confuse MLS® with www.mls.ca. The local MLS® is operated by the Edmonton Real Estate Board (EREB). It makes the real estate industry quite unique, because it encourages cooperation among real estate agents. They'd never give you all the information about the cars available on the competition's lots. In the real estate industry, however, all REALTORS have access to all properties listed on the MLS®, regardless of the company they work for.
